A team of 38 students from our institute accompanied by Dr.Anidev Singh (Students Activity & Sports Officer) participated in Twaran 2016 Annual National Level Sports Meet of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management at Gwalior from 22nd -25th January 2016.Over 1500 participants from IIIT-Allahabad, IIITM- Gwalior, IIITDM Jabalpur, and IIITDM- Kancheepuram, NIT- Delhi, SPA-Delhi, SPA-Bhopal, OIST-Bhopal participated in the event. Our institute teams participated in Cricket, Football, Volleyball and Badminton and performed well by reaching semifinal in Volleyball and Badminton. Participation of students in such events aims at inculcating the spirits inside the participants and bringing out the zeal in them to outperform the rest.
A number of 12 students from our institute participated in the All India Inter NIT Athletics, PowerLifting and Bodybuilding championship held at MNIT Jaipur from 26th -28th Feb., 2016. Our students performed brilliantly and for the first time in the history of NIT Delhi we have bagged One Gold, One Silver and One Bronze Medal in any INTER NIT championship in Sports under the guidance and support of Dr. Anidev Singh (Students Activity & Sports Officer). Mr. Satyendra Kishore of ECE branch 3rd year won Gold Medal in under 55 kg weight category BODYBUILDING Competition.( He also came 2nd in overall bodybuilding competition in which Gold medalists of all weight categories participated). Also Mr. Ankur Lal of EEE branch 4th year won Silver Medal in under 65 kg BODYBUILDING Competition and Bronze Medal in under 65 kg POWERLIFTING Competition. It is a matter of great pride for our esteem institute.

Football team participated in the annual sports fest SYNAPSE 2016 at Maulana Azad Medical College from 15th – 16th march 2016 and reached the quarterfinal of the tournament.
Students participated in Inter College Sports Fest TRIQUETRA-16 jointly organised by DTU, IIITD and NSIT from 25th – 27th March at NSIT Dwarka in which they bagged 3 Silver Medals in Powerlifting event.

• Ankur lal won silver medal in under 67 weight category,
• Gurpreet Singh won silver medal in under 75 weight category and
• Jatin Bisht won silver medal in under 81 weight category.

Students also participated in Cricket tournament and reached till the Quaterfinal.
