NIT Delhi had been admitting 30 students to its undergraduate programmes on the basis of marks obtained by them in the All India level Entrance Examination- AIEEE, which has been conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) every year. From the academic session 2013-14, the admission to the undergraduate programmes would be on the basis of JEE examination and the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations. From the academic session 2013-14, the intake of students in each of its undergraduate programme is 60, and admission is through Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB).
