NIT Delhi aims at achieving holistic development of its students. Apart from receiving good grades in their academics, students are also engaged in various extracurricular activities that provide them with immense opportunities to showcase their talent in varied fields: be it managerial, technical or artistic skills. The Institute hosts a multitude of inter branch events, cultural and technical fests that are solely managed by its students that provides them with crucial experience necessary for their career objectives. NIT Delhi is a journey in itself. It provides the much needed exposure as how to build something new and innovative as well as equips them with managerial skills.
E-CELL
E-Cell is a newly formed society that aims to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and skill among the students. The cell has been formed to accomplish the goal of transforming a business concept to reality.
The E-Cell regularly organizes webinars regarding financial literacy and management, negotiation and practical skill. To educate students about the future prospects after graduation, sessions are regularly organized with collaborators to help students choose their ideal career path. They frequently organize hackathons and educational sessions throughout the year to provide emphasis on the development of problem-solving skills.
The E-Cell often conducts sessions with alumni, CEOs and entrepreneurs to provide students with essential industrial insight and technical corporate knowledge.
STARTUP
NIT Delhi has been able to carve a niche for itself among the premier institutes and aims to achieve international distinction for commitment, creativity, innovation and excellence as the prior standards. It also prioritises cultivation of knowledge and research activities to develop technologies for the society. The institute has the finest faculty and the best students for its Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral programmes with a rich tradition of pursuing excellence in terms of academic programmes and research infrastructure. The students are not only exposed to challenging research-based academics but also a host of sports, cultural and organizational activities on its vibrant campus.
The institute offers plethora of placement opportunities to its students graduating with Bachelors of Technology and Masters of Technology degrees. Though very young, NIT Delhi is on its pathway of progress and has been able to attract some big names in the corporate world.

VIRTUAL PLACEMENT
Despite the need of isolation and global lockdown, the Training & Placement Cell resolved to adapt improvised to conduct the recruitment drives 100% in an online manner. The technical team at the Training & Placement Cell ensured that the sanctity of the interviews and the tests were not violated in any manners and helped troubleshoot any technical issue on an individual basis to provide a seamless experience for the candidates and the recruiters. Undoubtedly, our students aced the interviews enabling us to achieve the milestone of our highest placement package yet.
