Area of Thrust

Hydrodynamic Stability, Ferrohydrodynamics, Nanofluids, Non-Newtonian Fluids, Fluid Instabilities & Flow through Porous Media. Most of the work on magnetic fluids is concentrated to thermal convection problems of water based and ester based magnetic liquids. Porous medium studies on models based on Darcy, Brinkman law are considered. Penetrative convection in layer based on different models is explored. Variety of possible variations including thermal non-equlibrium, anisotropy, rotation, salt, gravity, throughflow are possible. There is a lot of open scope in near future to be explored.
